How to Prepare Paperwork for Scanning

On the first day of your new job your boss has just asked you to scan some documents. Never fear ListAfterList is here. Here is how to prepare paperwork for scanning.

1.	Determine how many documents you can feed into the scanner at one time.
2.	Create batches to fit the scanners limit
3.	Make sure the paper is naked (remove all staples, paperclips, tape, etc)
4.	Be sure the paper is not folded in anyway. Folds can cause paper jams which can be quite a mess.
5.	Make sure the scanner is turned on and installed
6.	Open and use the scanner software
7.	Admire your work!
