How to Import a Song from a CD Into iTunes

Turn all those old CDs into digital music. Here is how you can import a song from a CD into iTunes.
| 1. | Open the iTunes application |
| 2. | Insert CD |
| 3. | Click on the CD icon located in the sidebar |
| 4. | In the top right corner of iTunes click on the CD icon |
| 5. | Select which songs you want to import by placing check marks in the boxes |
| 6. | Select import |
| 7. | The songs should import into your library |
| 8. | Plug your iPod in. Make sure it is shown on the source panel. |
| 9. | Click on your library located in your source panel. |
| 10. | Search for the album name in your library. All the songs should show up. |
| 11. | Drag and drop all the songs from the CD you want onto your iPod in the source panel. |
| 12. | Properly eject your iPod by highlighting it and clicking th eject button in the buttom right corner, the farthest button to your right. |
| 13. | Take your iPod out. It should now show the new album name under albums and the songsshould be under songs. You now also have the songs in your iTunes library |
