No one likes to drive in snowy or icy conditions, but when driving is necessary you should follow these tips.
| | Use caution when applying brakes, braking abruptly may cause a loss of control |
| | Be especially carefull on bridges and overpasses, these sections of road tend to freeze the fastest |
| | Keep a steady speed, driving too slowly may cause your car to become stuck in snow |
| | When stuck in snow, straighten wheels and try to accelerate without spinning your wheels |
| | If you begin to slide, do not use brakes as they may further your loss of control |
| | Generally try to keep more distance between you and the car in front of you |
| | Try to avoid side roads or streets with a steep incline |
| | Best Tip - If you don't need to drive, stay at home! |
