These are a few of the most unbelievable weather happenings in United States history.

	On July 10, 1913 in Death Valley, California a temperature of 134 °F (!) was recorded.
	In Rapid City, South Dakota on January 22, 1943 the recorded temperature rose 49 °F in 2 minutes.
	At the LaGuardia Airport in New York, a temperature of 47 °F was recorded... during a snowfall!
	On January 20, 1954 in Rogers Pass, Montana, a temperature of −70 °F was recorded.
	In Rapid City, South Dakota on January 10, 1911, the recorded temperature dropped 47 °F in 15 minutes.
	In 13 US states and Ontario, Canada 148 tornadoes occurred in 16 hours on April 3 and 4, 1974.
