In the United States Cinco de Mayo is observed by many Americans regardless of ethnic origins. These are some of the world's largest May 5th party cities. Plan a trip here this weekend!

1. Denver, Colorado (Cinco De Mayo Celebrate Culture Festival at Civic Center Park) - There, you're greeted with 350 booths featuring Mexican cuisine and outdoor-grill faves, plus artwork and crafts. Three stages blast continuously with authentic nortena, salsa and banda music, while carnival rides and a midway add to the general din. Look for folklorico dancers and strolling mariachi bands, along with the Budweiser Clydesdales and a display of low-rider cars.
2. Los Angeles, California (Cinco De Mayo Celebration) - Celebration of Mexico's victory over French forces in Puebla, Mexico in 1862 with popular and traditional music, cultural presentations, festival, dance, food and live entertainment.
3. San Diego, California (Wells Fargo Old Town Fiesta Cinco de Mayo Presented by Barona) - The West's premiere celebration of arts, culture, history and entertainment, the Wells Fargo Old Town Fiesta Cinco de Mayo Presented by Barona features more than 200 performers at eight venues of entertainment, a traditional Mexican Mercado filled with 100 specialty booths featuring hand made crafts and regional cuisine.
4. Dallas, Texas (Cinco de Mayo Celebration) - Cinco de Mayo at Texas Stadium celebrates Mexico's 1862 victory over France, featuring carnival rides, entertainment and food.
5. San Antonio, Texas (Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Commerce Street) - Considering the significant role that Mexican culture has played in creating San Antonio, it is little wonder that this is one of the city's most popular events
6. Houston, Texas (annual Cinco de Mayo Parade) - It will take place this year on Saturday, May 5, 2007. The staging area is near Minute Maid Park.
7. Phoenix, Arizona (Cinco de Mayo Festival) - This two-day festival celebrates Cinco de Mayo with international and local entertainers, corporate booths, traditional Mexican foods, and a children's play area, and enjoyment for the entire family. The Cinco de Mayo Festival will take place at Central & Washington in downtown Phoenix.
8. Columbus, Ohio (Cinco D’Ohio Festival) -The North Market celebrates on Saturday, May 5th, 2007 with its first ever Cinco D’Ohio Festival
