Are Your Downloaded Games Safe?

Broken hard drive? You may loose all that you've downloaded and paid for when you send back that hard drive or upgrade to a new one.
| | Xbox 360: After you recover your gamer profile on your new console, enter Xbox Live Marketplace. The stuff you've bought and downloaded will be available for free download. |
| | PlayStation 3: Go to the store and look in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. Next to the shopping basket is the Download List tab. Here you'll find a list of what you own and be able to reclaim it for free. |
| | Wii: Go to the Virtual Console part of the Wii Shopping chanel. In the lower-right side of the screen is the option to look at the titles you've already downloaded. Just re-download them for free. However, Nintendo specifically states that neither your account nor downloads may be transferred between 2 units. If your Wii get's stolen, you're out of luck. |
