Signs You're Addicted to the Internet

Do you say "IAWTC" in normal conversation or have a bookmark list that takes 15 minutes to scroll down? Here are some signs that you are addicted to the internet.
| | You regularly dream about surfing the Internet and can't recall the last dream you had that didn't involve the Internet. |
| | You find yourself brainstorming subjects to search on the Internet. |
| | During power outages, you sit impatiently at the keyboard waiting for the power to come back on. |
| | You step out of your room and realize your parents have moved and you don't remember when. |
| | You wake up at 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and check your e-mail on the way back to bed. |
| | Your hard drive crashes. You haven't logged in for two hours. You start to twitch. You pick up the phone and manually dial your ISP's access number. You try to hum to communicate with the modem. You succeed. |
| | All of your friends have @ in their name. |
| | You turn off the computer and get an awful feeling, like you just unplugged a loved one. |
| | You check your e-mail. It says, "no new messages." You check it again. |
| | You e-mail friend so much, you don't remeber what their voices sound like. |

| | Funny pictures are taken of you and your friends while you are hanging out, and you all laugh and say "I bet these will be on Facebook." |
| | Gossip centers around what friend's have written on facebook walls, and who has put that they are in a relationship on their page. |
| | you feel net is not expanding : you go to google's 15th page for your search because 1..14 pages are your well known sites. |
| | You have forgotten the basic metric conversion formulas and do the calculation online, even if you do it daily! |
| | you have started using an online bookmark keeper and no longer rely on browser bookmarks because you cannot function without your bookmarks on some other machine |
| | to calculate days between say 1 Aug and 13 September, you go to date time calculator, rather than counting from a paper calendar |
| | you no longer can write a passage without googling it first |
