| | For church, I'm big on stretchy velvet-look clothes in the winter. I have lots of the black "velvet" clothing from my career as a flutist, and it's so easy to care for. Stretchy and forgiving (if weight goes up and down), impossible to wrinkle, and works with lots of other fabrics, from denim to silk. In the summer, I usually wear a short-sleeved sweater (sometimes a twin set) and a long, tailored skirt (a la Ralph Lauren). |
