Time Magazine's Worst Picks for 100 Most Influential People
INTERESTING
Tags: time, time magazine, influential people, charity, celebrity
When Time Magazine puts out their annual list 100 People Who Shape Our World, we have at least some idea of who's going to be on it. Celebs like Bono and Oprah are a given, and even a few politicians. But there's also a few we weren't expecting, listed here. Can anyone think of any more?
| | Justin Timberlake- Yes, he's talented, but is he really shaping our world? One could argue that since the Baha Men were once popular that they too shaped our world. Justin has staying power, but it's hard to predict whether his music will ever have more power than to get 13-24 year old girls to dance. |
| | Kate Moss- An icon, to be sure, but if Kate's anorexic, coke-snorting frame wasn't featured in ads between the glossy pages of Vogue and Cosmopolitan, would the world really be shaped any different? |
| | Tyra Banks- Bafflingly enough, she ended up in the 'Heroes & Pioneers' category. What does she contribute? People watch her show, which is an hour of her talking about herself, and that's about it. |
| | Osama Bin Laden- Shapes our world, but not for the better. Obviously. |
| | Nancy Pelosi- Something tells me people are going to end up hating her in the long run. |
