The Smartest & Dumbest U.S. States

It doesn't exactly prove the theory that you'll be smarter of you drink maple syrup and avoid the cactus juice, but when it comes to intelligence, a by Morgan Quitno Press survey ranks Arizona dead last among U.S. states. The smartest state is Vermont.

Ohio... right in the middle. Average again!
Comment by: Pratt I give it a 2, simply because Maine is in the top 5. However, where in the hell is the reasoning behind the rankings? Some sort of explaination would have helped. Otherwise, it just looks too random; like I could have done it.
Comment by: JLydon Maine might be in the top 5 if you consider the state stops at Portland! Trust me I'm from eastern Maine and it's full of inbred hicks.
