In light of the saucy Vanity Fair article about Guiliani's wife, the 24-hour news channels have been focusing heavily on the hotties waiting at home for the 2008 Presidential candidates. Here are a few facts about their better halves.
| | Joe Biden and Jill Tracy Jacobs- They've been married since 1977, and have one biological child together. He has two children from his previous marriage, in which he was widowed. |
| | Rudy and Judith Giuliani- Vanity Fair describes her as an extravagant materialist who insists her Louis Vuitton purse gets a separate airplane seat. We can't really know for sure, but it is known that they had a lengthy affair (he was still married) before they wed in 2003. |
| | John and Elizabeth Edwards- She was an established attorney long before she married John Edwards. She's also one of her husband's closest advisers, despite her ongoing battle with breast cancer. |
| | Michelle and Barack Obama- She's VIce President for Community and External Affairs for University of Chicago Hospitals. They've been married since 1992. Also worth noting: Vanity Fair recently named her one of the 10 Best Dressed People. Guess we know whose side they're on. |
| | Cindy and John McCain- She's a philanthropist, a former teacher and a former painkiller addict. They've been married for 27 years! |
| | Carol and John Paul- They've been together for 50 years! Their first date was when she asked him to a Sadie Hawkins dance in 1957. She helps him campaign by sending handmade cookbooks to constituents. |
| | Ann and Mitt Romney- Despite their Mormon faith, she's his only wife. They married in 1968 and have five children. She's considered a philanthropist, even serving as liaison to the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. |
| | Bill and Hillary Clinton- How can you write a blurb about Bill Clinton? They've been married nearly 30 years. He was Governor of Arkansas.... and President of the United States. |
