I think by now we all know that our dreams are symbolic, but what does all the sci-fi stuff in them mean? Here are theories behind common dream symbols.
| | Animals - generally symbolize basic, instinctual actions and emotions that a repressed. |
| | Anxiety - Your impatience is showing with a desired or feared coming situation, or event that has a measure of suspense. |
| | Blood - bleeding profusely represents someone or something is "bleeding you dry."
Violent, bloody dreams indicate of an emotional upheaval
Menstrual blood may mean fertility
"Having blood on one's hands" may be a sign of guilt. |
| | Boss - represents an authority figure in your life. |
| | Cars - indicate a sense of freedom, being in control or a means of escape. |
| | Cats - Cats represent femininity, intuition, magic and sexuality. Your personal feelings about cats are the key to deciphering their meaning in your dreams. |
| | Cave - a place to hide; coming out of a cave suggests the emergence of the true self; it may also symbolize the womb, new life, contemplation or creativity. |

| | Death/Dying - If you think of death as merely one phase of life, than dreaming of death may symbolize a phase in your life coming to an end. |

| | Illness - dreaming this may be the subconscious advising you of a physical ailment of the body, the dreamer should pay close attention to the part of the body involved; it may also be an indication of an emotional or spiritual condition which may need attention. |

It may be bringing the dreamer back to a childhood memory that needs to be addressed. |
