IN THE PAST
Tags: 9-11, NYC, World Trade Center, myths, New York, September, 11, Eleventh, Sept, urban, terrorist, attacks
Here are some common misconceptions about the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001:
| | Zacarias Moussaoui was the "20th hijacker." |
| | We know how the hijackers seized the planes. |
| | Iraq was involved in the Sept. 11 attacks. |
| | The Sept. 11 plotters planned to use crop-dusters for a biological or chemical attack. |
| | Terrorists or their supporters profited by speculating on airline stocks before 9/11. |
| | No one could have predicted the Sept. 11 attacks. |
| | The US air defense system, NORAD, was deliberately stood down or rendered ineffective. |
| | Many of the hijackers as named by America are still alive. |
| | Another problem in the official account is that, although we are told that four or five of the alleged hijackers were on each of the four flights, no proof of this claim has been provided. |
