	8:46 a.m. - Flight 11 struck the North Tower; 102 minutes later, the North Tower collapsed;
	9:02 a.m. - Flight 175 struck the South Tower; 56 minutes later, the South Tower collapsed;
	Time they took to fall: 12 seconds.
	Total number killed in attacks (official figure as of 9/5/02): 2,819
	Number of firefighters and paramedics killed: 343
	Number of NYPD officers: 23
	Number of Port Authority police officers: 37
	Number of WTC companies that lost people: 60
	Number of employees who died in Tower One: 1,402
	Number of employees who died in Tower Two: 614
	The youngest passenger on the hijacked jets was Christine Hanson on United Airlines Flight 175. She was 2 and on her first trip to Disneyland.
	Two-thousand children lost a parent Sept. 11, including 146 who lost a parent at the Pentagon.
	Number of employees lost at Cantor Fitzgerald: 658
	Number of U.S. troops killed in Operation Enduring Freedom: 22
	The oldest passenger on the hijacked jets was Robert Norton on American Airlines Flight 11. He was 82.
	The New York City Fire Department lost 343 firefighters, almost half the number of on-duty deaths in the department's 100-year history.
	The south tower collapsed at a magnitude of 2.1 on a seismograph; the north tower collapsed with a magnitude of 2.3, according to Columbia University in New York.
	Number of nations whose citizens were killed in attacks: 115
	1.5 million working hours during 261 days were spent removing the debris at the WTC site.
	The National Football League bought 1 million small flags for spectators when games resumed Sept. 23.
	Ratio of men to women who died: 3:1
	Age of the greatest number who died: between 35 and 39
	Bodies found "intact": 289
	Body parts found: 19,858
	Number of families who got no remains: 1,717
	Estimated units of blood donated to the New York Blood Center: 36,000
	Total units of donated blood actually used: 258
