The report, "World's Top Rivers at Risk," released ahead of World Water Day on March 22nd 2007, lists the top 10 rivers that are dying as a result of climate change, pollution and dams.

1.	Yangtze (Asia): Pollution
2.	Mekong-Lancang (Asia): Over-fishing
3.	Salween, Nujiang or Nu River (Asia): Infrastructure, dams
4.	Ganges (Asia): Water Over-extraction
5.	Indus (Asia): Climate Change
6.	Danube (Europe): Infrastructure - Navigation
7.	La Plata (America): Infrastructure - Dams and Navigation
8.	Rio Grande - Rio Bravo (America): Water Over-extraction
9.	Nile-Lake Victoria (Africa): Climate Change
