A look at a few of this seasons new TV shows.

  • Kitchen Nightmares: Chef and television star Gordon Ramsay ("Hell's Kitchen") hits the road to help struggling restaurants turn things around. The show features a different restaurant each episode and they only have one week to make it the most popular dining venue in town. Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.

  • Private Practice: ABC's spinoff of the drama "Grey's Anatomy" featuring Adison Montgomery (Kate Walsh). Ready to leave her divorce and affair behind her in Seattle, Adison joins a public clinic run by a few of her friends in Los Angeles. Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.

  • Samantha Who?: Samantha (Christina Applegate), a patient recovering from Amnesia, is forced to start a new life while also trying to reconnect with people from her life prior to the accident. She soon discovers that the old Samantha was self-centered and narcissistic and wants to change her ways for the better. Mondays at 9:30 on ABC.

  • Cavemen: If you've seen the Geico commercials, then you have an idea of what this show will be about. This sitcom will look at life in the suburbs throught the eyes of three cavemen. Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

  • Kid Nation: A reality show that follows forty children ranging in age from 8-15 spending forty days in the middle of nowhere without adults. Watch as they try to create a community and survive on the rules they have set themselves. Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.

  • Nashville: From the creaters of "Laguna Beach", a reality show that follows young country music singers in the city known as "the biggest small town in America". Fridays at 9 p.m. on Fox.

  • Back to You: News anchor Chuck Darling (Kelsey Grammar) returns to his old t.v. station in Pittsburgh to try to bring back his career, where he and his co-anchor Kelly Carr (Patricia Heaton) previously had no chemistry on camera together. However, in their time apart things may have changed. Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
