	The Semi-Attached Couple and The Semi-Detached House, by Emily Eden
	Arabella, by Georgette Heyer (really anything of hers!)
	Sorcery and Cecelia or the Enchanted Chocolate Pot, by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer (Austen plus magic!)
	The Absentee, by Maria Edgeworth (some social criticism in this one, but also a fine romance)
	Middlemarch, by George Eliot (it will take a while to get through this one... and by then you'll have forgotten all of Austen's books and get to reread them! a bonus!)
	Possession, by A. S. Byatt (much better than the movie)
