List of Approximate Roasting Times for Turkeys per Pound

This list will help you determine approximately how long to roast stuffed and unstuffed turkeys. But you should always use a meat thermometer to roast the turkey until the meat thermometer reaches 180 degrees F. The following roasting times are for a preheated 325 degrees F. oven:
| | 6 to 8 pounds - 3 hours |
| | 8 to 12 pounds- 3.5 hours |
| | 12 to 16 pounds - 4 hours |
| | 16 to 20 pounds - 5.5 hours |
| | 20 to 24 pounds - 6 hours |
